| Mission Statement |
|
| |
| TOXICTORT.cc is
a law firm with 5 attorney members and 3 additional lawyers
who are “of counsel” to the firm. All members
of the firm are licensed to practice in Kentucky and the
attorneys have represented clients in state and federal
courts throughout the Commonwealth. Members of the firm
are also licensed by, and represent clients in, the states
of Indiana and Florida. The members have also represented
clients along with co-counsel in other states including
Alabama, Ohio, and Tennessee. |
| |
| The lawyers of TOXICTORT.cc previously
practiced as solo attorneys but formed a firm to provide
clients the benefits of their diverse but complimentary
skills, including engineering and medical backgrounds.
Mr. Fell has a B.S. degree from the University
of Louisville Speed Scientific school where he studied
Environmental and Chemical Engineering, respectively.
Mr. Byrnes has a degree in Civil Engineering from Marquette
University and is a licensed Professional Engineer. Dr.
Wright has a D.M.D. degree from the University of Louisville,
where he is a faculty member. |
| |
| The firm uses its considerable experience
and abilities to provide zealous, ethical, and affordable
representation to clients in many areas of law but especially
to individuals who have been damaged as a result of another’s
misconduct. In Kentucky and Southern Indiana the firm
represents victims who have been seriously injured as
a result of a wide variety of circumstances including,
but not limited to, automobile and truck wrecks, defective
products, drug errors, negligence, malpractice, and construction
defects. |
| |
| While Kentucky does not recognize specialties
of legal practice, the lawyers of TOXICTORT.cc
have earned a regional reputation for excellence in cases
involving clients who have been injured, or whose property
has been damaged, as a result of contamination with, or
exposure to, toxic and hazardous chemicals, drugs, and
pollutants. |
| |
| The firm’s members are real lawyers
working on real cases and, if necessary, going to trial.
They do not resort to simplistic television advertising
to attract clients, relying instead on the results they
have obtained for their clients. Indeed, they view the
opportunity to provide legal advice to persons in need
of counsel as both a great privilege and a moral imperative.
It is their experience that many legal questions can be
addressed in a single phone call or visit - if people
are not deterred from making that call by financial concerns.
Consequently, there is no charge for a client’s
first call or visit. |
| |
| Aside from their professional efforts on
behalf of injured clients, the firm’s members are
involved in varied educational and charitable activities
and are active in their churches and local communities. |
